75 tonne travel lift
Italian ASCOM lift on the hardstand. Sponsored by Hart Marine. Cats to 8.6 m beam, workboats that used to go interstate.

Somerville · Western Port
Supreme Marine sits in the precinct — two sheds, boats to 40 tonne off the water, and the rest of the harbour a walk away.
The yard is run by Yaringa Boat Harbour — not us. We book the lift when a job has to come into the sheds. Berths, storage and fuel are theirs.

Protected Western Port waterway. Walkways and docks to about 17 m, shore power, water, gated access, CCTV.

ULP and diesel on the fuel dock. Wash bay, slipping, antifoul and the usual boatyard traffic.
Western Port, Watson’s Inlet, an hour south-east of Melbourne. Ramp, chandlery, Cptn Jack’s on the pontoon.

Anchor tenant
Family composite yard. Self-righting ORC pilot boats — Pantocarene beak-bow design, built on the Peninsula for 40-odd years. Police, port authorities, SAR and commercial operators worldwide. Hart bought the harbour in 2018 and put the 75 tonne lift on the hardstand so the bigger hulls stay here.
Their shipyard does composite, mechanical, electrical and survey work. When a Hart boat needs Mercury, SmartCraft or a Simrad helm, it walks down the road to us.

Shipwright
Julian Cox — qualified shipwright, 20-plus years. Boat building and repairs in Factory 4–5, two doors from Supreme. When the hull has to be right before the motor goes on, that’s the walk.
Old line from our last site still holds: surrounded by the rest of the trade, so a refit doesn’t mean three suburbs.
